Tutorial

April 29, 2008

I made this tutorial a very long time ago (over 2 years :P ) but I decided to share nonetheless.

Well here we go:

First open a 600×600 px document with white background.
Then you select your paintbucket.

Fill your background with black.

Get a nice brush and put the foreground colour to white.
Now brush the whole background (not too thick).
Add a color balance:

Use a colour you like [I'm going to use blue].

Duplicate your layer Layer >> duplicate layer >> ok (or ctrl+j).
Then make anorther color balance with a colour that fits the first one (in my part green)
Now do Filter >> Render >> Clouds.
Do this on all your colour balance layers.

If you think the coulours are still too bright then you can still delete one.
Now hit CTRL+SHIFT+E.
Duplicate the “background”layer and go to filter >> blur >> gaussian blur, make the radius 3 px.
Put the blending mode to Lighten :

Now CTRL+E.
Now you can copy it and paste it into a sig.
